If you’re looking for inspiration or just need a “gentle reminder” to help extinguish any and all excuses that might be holding you back on your path towards fretboard fluency, look no further than GMI alumni, Briana Sullivan.

Briana spent six months hiking the Appalachian Trail, covering over 2193 miles with her Martin travel guitar, G String and GMI to keep her company.

She set a goal, planned it out, then took the steps necessary to see that goal to fruition.

She carried with her determination, patience, drive, and vision.

All the tools needed to bring about, not only her own personal success, but to model those qualities for those around her. *Her daughter did the trail with her as well.

She embodies power, grace and an unshakable belief in one’s self.

She embodies power, grace, and an unshakable belief in one’s self that allowed her to take challenges head-on and cultivate a deep understanding that these are the mindsets and actions required once you make the choice to embark on the journey of who you currently are, to who you want to become.

Oh yeah, she also learned her scales, intervals and how to transpose pretty darn well too! ;)

We are so honored to have been written into this story with you, Briana.

Keep shining!
